General Fund - Fund for Fontbonne

Serving as our general fund, The Fund for Fontbonne ensures that the institution has access to direct funding for areas of greatest need at the discretion of senior leadership. Historically, the Fund for Fontbonne has supported critically needed academic enhancements, faculty-staff development, extracurricular activities designed to broaden the scope of a Fontbonne education, building improvements to ensure up to date learning centers, and the essential costs associated with maintaining our physical Fontbonne community.

A gift to the Fund for Fontbonne is a gift to the enrichment and longevity of Fontbonne, The Early College of Boston and our mission to educate and support the next generation of female leaders and innovators.

We are so grateful for all that you do to support our mission of educating young women of courage, helping them find their voice in service to themselves and others.

Annual Fund Scholarship

REUNION is a time to reflect on your Fontbonne education, the opportunities it provided, and the lifelong friends you made. In recognition of your Fontbonne Reunion, the Annual Fund Scholarship was created to elevate the impact of gifts made during a Reunion year.

Through this campaign, Alumnae collectively donate to establish their class’ Annual Fund Scholarship. During the June 2024 scholarship awards ceremony, each of the thirteen Reunion Class Annual Fund Scholarships are presented to thirteen named students with demonstrated financial needs and strong academic aptitude.

This unique scholarship is a one-time award for the 2024-2025 academic year. Next Spring, Alumnae donors to the 2024 Reunion Annual Fund Scholarship are invited to join their student scholarship recipient at the annual Fontbonne Scholarship Brunch in May. This special event brings Alumnae donors and their young scholarship sisters together to meet each other and hear how your class’ scholarship has impacted the student’s life by providing the needed resources for her to have a Fontbonne education.

Each year we aim to raise $50,000 to support students in need. Please use the link provided to learn more about this program and to make a REUNION year gift that will be of significant importance to the future of Fontbonne.

For questions or help making a gift, please reach out to Kim Kossuth, Director of Annual and Leadership Giving, at kkossuth@fontbonneboston.org or (617) 615-3018

March Class Challenge

The 2024 March Class Challenge campaign invites YOU to work collectively with your graduating class to support the Patricia Cerasuolo Girls’ Leadership Institute.

The Patricia Cerasuolo Girls' Leadership Institute was established to allow for intentional leadership opportunities for our students and to follow Mrs. Cerasuolo's mission of empowering all Fontbonne students to use their voices and become change agents in our world.

Fontbonne is honored to have the Girls' Leadership Institute named in Mrs. Cerasuolo's honor and is grateful to the Cloherty Family P '12, '18 for their support and foresight in this naming decision. The Patricia Cerasuolo Girls' Leadership Institute is an extension of her legacy of advancing leadership knowledge, skills, and potential to all students. Mrs. Cerasuolo, if here today, would be leading this charge with conviction, and we can think of no better way to honor her memory and service to Fontbonne than through the work of this program.

Please show your support for this exciting opportunity for your future Fontbonne sisters. No gift is too small! Any amount will truly impact and directly support leadership experiences for all future Women of Courage Made Strong through the Patricia Cerasuolo Girls' Leadership Institute at Fontbonne.
