Fontbonne recognizes and celebrates its past, present and future through the lives of Alumnae who truly live out the mission and lessons learned as students and graduates. We will be honoring some of these incredible women during Reunion weekend.
Award details and nomination forms are can be found below. All nominations are due by September 20, 2021.
Nominations will be reviewed and recommendations will be forwarded to the Head of School, Maura Spignesi for final review and notification of awards.

Fontbonne 2021 Woman of courage award
The Woman of Courage Award is designed to recognize those who stand out and provide leadership and example for our students today and tomorrow as well as inspiration for all Fontbonne Alumnae.
The Fontbonne Woman of Courage Award celebrates Alumnae who confidently live and apply the mission, values and lessons learned at Fontbonne Academy in service to their neighbors and the community.
The Woman of Courage is presented annually to a member of a Reunion Class. Alumnae from classes 1960, 1961, 1966, 1970, 1971, 1976, 1980, 1981, 1986, 1990, 1991, 1996, 2000, 2001 are eligible for nomination.
Nominations are sought from all Alumnae and members of the Learning Community.
distinguished alumna award
The Distinguished Alumna Award is presented to an Alumna who is recognized among her peers as a woman who has excelled in her field of expertise. Alumnae from classes 1960, 1961, 1966, 1970, 1971, 1976, 1980, 1981, 1986, 1990, 1991, 1996, 2000, 2001 are eligible for nomination. Nominations are sought from all Alumnae and members of the Learning Community.
dear neighbor award
The Dear Neighbor Award is presented to a current Alumnae member of the Fontbonne community that has exemplified the values of supporting and servicing the Dear Neighbor per the charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph.
