Model UN

As a club, Fontbonne Model United Nations has many goals, including helping participants to gain a multicultural view of world affairs and to develop speech and debate skills. FBAMUN is education through simulation. FBAMUN cannot be classified simply as a debate activity; it is also a role-playing activity. FBAMUN provides a unique educational experience that extends beyond the traditional academic method. By delving into their roles as diplomats to the U.N., students gain a hands-on understanding of the intricacies of world diplomacy. The club organizes day MUN’s, overnight MUN’s and a trip to NYC to tour the United Nations facilities.
