Admissions overview
Fontbonne Academy admits qualified young women capable of the academic demands of a college-preparatory program. Acceptance is based on the following criteria: performance on the High School Placement Test, the 7th and 8th grade record, other standardized test scores, and recommendations from teachers and/or principal.
Any student in the eighth, ninth, or tenth grade who is capable of college-preparatory curriculum may apply to Fontbonne Academy. Eighth grade students wishing to apply should contact the Admissions Office. Ninth or tenth grade students wishing to apply should contact the Guidance Department to discuss the transfer process.

A complete application to Fontbonne Academy requires the following three steps: DOWNLOAD: Key Dates & Information (PDF) 1. Placement exam All applicants to Fontbonne Academy must take the Archdiocesan High School Placement Test. The test will be given at Fontbonne Academy on November 17th and December 8, 2007. If you wish to take the HSPT at Fontbonne, please download a copy of the card here and return to Fontbonne Academy with the $25 registration fee as soon as possible, as space is limited. At the time of the test, a student can indicate as many as FIVE schools to which her scores will be sent. DOWNLOAD: HSPT registration card (PDF) 2. Application All applicants to Fontbonne must complete and file an application, including the Applicatin form, a Parent Information form and a Teacher Recommendation, with the Admissions Office no later than December 31, 2007. Middle / elementary school transcript A copy of the transcript record from middle/elementary school attended by the applicant is required and must be mailed to the Fontbonne Admissions Office. DOWNLOAD: Transcript record release form (PDF) Students who are accepted to Fontbonne are invited to spend a day at the school during the month of February. An invitation with visiting dates will be mailed to each accepted student. International studentsAccepted Students
Extended hours: The Fontbonne cafeteria is now
open until 6:00pm with a proctored faculty member. This enables
all our students to stay for extracurricular activities, homework
and study in a safe environment.
